| Kuchinotsu No.32 |
It is cross-fertilized by 清见, 恩科尔2号 and
Murcott. It shows characteristics of middle size, extending and
soft branches, with spinule in young tree and long treetop; dark
green large leaf with luster, strong disease resistance; big fruit
of about 230g is dark orange to red, redder than that of amakusa
fruit; flat fruit is very nice. It ripens in the middle of December,
with sugar of about 14° and acid of 1.1°. After storage, it is more
tasting, easy to peel off, without seed. Under normal temperature,
it can be stored to the last ten days of March. It is known for
its high yield and resistance to coldness. It is late variety suitable
to the area with average temperature over 17°C. |
| Ehime No.22 |
Cross-fertilized by 南香 and 恩科尔2号, it also
belongs to hybrid citrus. It is strong, leaf with luster, strong
resistance to disease; fruit is about 150g, flat with hilum, orange
with waxiness, smooth and nice. The fruit flesh is dark orange without
stone basically, with sugar of 19°to 22°, sweet. It ripens in the
last ten days of December and can be stored to the last ten days
of February with long keeping quality. This variety is suitable
for the area with average temperature over 17.5°C, lowest over -3°C.

| Ehime No.30 |
It is the latest hybrid citrus variety
of Japan cross-fertilized by Kuchinotsu No.31 and 恩科尔. It is of
moderate size, flat fruit, dark red, smooth, nice appearance, fruit
of 250g; the sugar is up to 20° and acid of 1.1°, after stored to
March, the acid will be 0.8° or so, tasty and refreshing. It ripens
in the middle of January and can be picked up in February and March
in the region over -3°C in winter, with better quality. With long
keeping quality, it can be stored to the end of May naturally. With
strong resistance to adversity and disease, high yield, it can be
developed as the high-grade late ripening variety in most parts
of citrus production places and the ideal updating variety for old
citrus park. The most applicable region: annual average temperature
over 17.5°C and over -3°C in winter. In winter, the fruit is hard
to fall off. And it is one of the high-grade late ripening hybrid
citruses to be developed widely in the future. |

It is the latest variety cultivated by
南香 and 西子香, with middle size, round fruit, dark orange, thin oil
droplet, 200g fruit flesh; it is feels smooth and looks nice; easy
to peel off; with sugar up to 15°and acid below 0.5°; no stone;
very tasting. It ripens in the middle of November and can be sold
in the middle of October. It is known for its long keeping quality,
strong resistance to coldness, and high yield. It can be promoted
greatly as the high-grade early ripening variety. |
